An old Brsečan friend has left us - MILIVOJ VALČIĆ. In former times Milivoj was the
singing center in all parties in Brseč. He knew all traditional songs, both Italian and Croatian.
We will always remember him as a cheerful and social friend.

An old Brsečan friend has left us - STANKO JURINOVIĆ.
He will always be a living part of our generation's common memory.
• 2019, January 17th Adam was borne at lunchtime in Rijeka. Hopefully he will contribute to the survival of Brsec in the future ;-)
• 2016, November The summer house No. 51 in Brseč is finished. See the building process here ;-)
• 2015, June There are several films available for public use. Aureljeva, Corpus Cristi etc. etc. Contact the webmaster for dropbox transfer ;-)
• 2015, May The Presika area contract is now accepted by all parties – the first building permission is soon at bay ;-)
• 2014, April The belltower is now facelifted to its former glory. See images by scrolling down 3/4 of 2014.
• 2013, September 30 The post office in Brsec is now history. Look at the demolition here.

 The belltower has been in desperate need for a thorough facelift since years back. Now this work has started, and in the best of worlds, the job will be finished end of this year. The photo documentation can be found here.

This summer (autumnlike)was extremely hot and dry. Almost no rain for three months. The change arrived August 26 with a spectacular thunderstorm.....and in a day the temperature leveled at 28 °C....very comfortable.

The The griffon vulture from Beli on Cres, with a malfunctioning "GPS", that unfortunately managed to fly to Goteborg in Sweden has now retured safe and sound to Beli ;-)

The development plan for the Presika area in Brsec is now fully approved and operative. The process of division of inheritence and seek building permits can start ;-)

 2009, August 1st Johanna & Nicolas got married at the beautiful lake Animmen in Dalsland, Sweden.......Long live the youngsters!

 2009, July The Uskari house was occupied by Hans & Family, Carina & Family and the webmaster. The month started with "Scandinavian weather" but from the third week onwards the usual tropical heat situation ruled.
